The Voice of Piano will be released as a double CD in June 2024 on the Prospero Classical label. The release concert is on June 30, 2024 at the Orangerie Theater, Volksgartenstra\u00dfe 25, 50677 Cologne. <\/p>\n

It is a musical journey through time through songs, chansons and songs from Bach to Poulenc. Arrangements for piano from Williams through Godowski to Volodos and Winkler.<\/p>\n

The sung song as the foundation and cradle of music has always attracted and fascinated me. I have put together my favourite and most poignant works to create a journey through time and moods. Many wonderful arrangements were already available. Godowski arranged Strauss songs for piano in his unique style. Arcadi Volodos composed a fantasy on Mompou’s most beautiful song from “Combat del Somni”. Adreas Winkler, my partner in crime for this piano recital, a Cologne composer and lecturer at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, congenially arranged the songs by Mahler, Debussy and Maria T\u0103nase for me.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
