Carmen Stefanescu started teaching at an early age. Today she is a successful, experienced and sought-after piano teacher in Cologne. Her students win numerous awards in the German national Young Musicians contests at regional, federal state and national level and also in European competitions such as the Polish-German Hiller Competition.

Since she started teaching online in 2020, you can even book classes beyond Cologne.

Carmen Stefanescu teaches in German as well as English and Romanian.

Piano lesson pricing

As of January 1, 2025, the following terms apply to my piano lessons in Cologne and online:

Monthly tuition fees
• 45 minutes per week: 160 € per month
• 60 minutes per week: 210 € per month

Important information:
• There are no classes during school holidays or on public holidays.

The tuition contract may be terminated at the end of any month.

Individual sessions and 5-session passes
• Individual session (60 minutes): 90 €
• 5-session pass (60 minutes per session): 400 €
• 5-session pass (45 minutes per session): 300 €

5-Lesson Pass Policy:
Lessons booked as part of a 5-lesson pass must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, they will be charged as taken.

Lessons take place at Eifelstraße 21, 50677 Cologne, on a Steinway Model B grand piano.

I charge 60 € for the 45-minute trial session; this amount is credited towards the cost if we decide to work together.
